YOU SAY WE'RE BOTH LITTLE PEOPLE AND YOU LIKE IT THAT WAY,
YOU SAY WE'RE BOTH LITTLE PEOPLE AND YOU LIKE IT THAT WAY,
NAME: Gregory Ryan Dalton
NICKNAME: Greg, Greggo, Dalton
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male
SEXUALITY: Straight
BIRTHDATE: November 21, 1991
GROUP: Senior; canon
SCHOOL: Lawrence Collegiate
GRADE: Twelfth
BUT IN TIME I'M GONNA PUT THIS BODY TO SHAME,
Greg is the typical all-American athletic with good looks and a killer smile. He dedicates most of his focus to athletic endeavors and so is in very good shape. He works hard to maintain that form but he truly enjoys the sports so "it's all good," as he's fond of saying.
Following more in the vein of "classic good looks," Greg has mainstream blond hair and blue eyes. The hair is sandy blonde really; run through with the natural low-lights. Not at all any degree of "metro-sexual," Ryan does nothing to his hair: no gel, no mousse, no spray. Barely a comb. Just shampoo and hand tousling it in the morning. His too-long bangs never fall to fall into his eyes but Greg can never find room to care.
Greg is as nice as they come and completely easy-going. His most noticeable feature and his favorite are one in the same: his smile. It's lop-sided, hooking up higher on the right than the left and showing just a flash of teeth. His eyes crinkle and light up and are usually only a few seconds away from laughing. It's the smile that kills all the freshman girls and charms any and every teacher.
As for style, Greg is pretty laid back with a preppy flair. Polos, fitted tees, jeans, khakis and hoodies make up most of his wardrobe. When he's not in uniform or sportswear, that is. Like his hair, Greg doesn't put much thought or effort into fashion. If it's clean and doesn't look ridiculous, it's good to go.
BODY TYPE: A star athletic, Greg is built. He has a defined musculature and you can tell he's strong. However, he maintains a fairly slender frame, not going for any kind of body-building physique.
HAIR: Greg has sandy blonde hair that has a penchant for flopping into his eyes. It's straight and usually pretty shaggy. A true guy, he doesn't do much with it, just lets it fall where it may, giving it its haphazard, bed-heady style.
EYES: Greg's eyes are bright, pale blue.
HEIGHT: 6'1"
WEIGHT: 160lbs
TATTOOS/PIERCINGS: None
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Greg has a few normal scars, just from playing sports and the usual events of life.

WEAR A SUIT LIKE MY OLD MAN,
Greg was born into the lap of luxury. His father is a high-price corporate lawyer who loves to glad-hand and comes from old money. His mother is a Daughter of the Mayflower and lives for all things of vanity and fashion. And if you were to ask Greg, he would tell you that he doesn't even think they like each other let alone love each other. Most meals were spent between just him and Finn, sometimes his mother; never his father.
Through all that, Greg got super-close to his little sister. They were best friends and playmates for the longest time. And then Greg hit high school age and it was time to choose the "proper" academy for him. That apparently meant Lawrence Collegiate. In Canada. Greg was a little upset about having to leave his home, friends and sister behind but mostly he was excited. Excited at the prospect of meeting all new people and being in a new place.
Greg instantly shone and flourished at LC. He was the star athlete and once he started going out with Claire, the headmaster's daughter... Well, he was royalty. Classmates love him because he's genuinely a good guy, teachers love him because he's a hard-worker. Aside from Claire, a steady best friend and the entourage that seems to follow him, Greg's closest friend is _____ Willows.
She's just a sophomore to his senior but he loves how real and down to Earth she is. Truthfully, she reminds him a little of his sister. Except lately his feelings toward her have been nothing of the brotherly kind. And his feelings toward Claire and getting less and less like those of the boyfriend-ly kind... Everything seems to be changing and with college looming, Greg is just along for the ride.
HOMETOWN: Hartford, Connecticut
MOTHER: Katherine Dalton nee Finn, 40, clothing designer/socialite
FATHER: Daniel Dalton, 44, corporate lawyer
SIBLING(S): Finn Dalton, 12, sister
PETS: Misty, Russian Blue female cat.
PACK UP ALL MY THINGS AND GET MY ASS OUT OF TOWN,
Hard to believe it, but Greg is a nice guy. He gives everyone around him a chance (and then another and then another...) which some would call naive but he just calls it being human. He knows he's messed up his fair share of times and getting forgiven is always appreciated. So he follows the Gold Rule, does unto others as he would have done unto him, and forgives. His most popular phrase is "S'all good." It takes quite a lot to ruffle his feathers.
Chivalrous and charismatic, Greg tends to always stand up for the little guy. If someone is getting picked on, he'll step up and call the bully out. He's done it enough for his little sister so he's used to it. The only exception here is Claire. She is constantly catty but Greg never calls her out on it. Oh, he's talked to her in private. Asked her to tone it down. But he'd never snap at her in front of her crowd. He loves her... But lately.
Lately he's been getting more and more fed up with Claire. He can't stand her attitude and it seems to him like she's not even interested in him as a boyfriend anymore. Because of this, Greg has been spending time with his closest girl friend ______ Willows. Behind Claire's back, of course, but only because she would think he was cheating and then flip and Greg did want to stress her out like that. Plus he didn't want to handle her screaming at him. And all that time with sweet, smart, innocent ______(Williams)... Well, it's got Greg thinking that maybe there's something --someone-- better out there for him. But he can't break up with Claire. She's the self-proclaimed queen of LC. It's like Scripture and Verse; they're meant to be. He can't be the one to crash that fairy-tale ending. Unless some extenuating circumstance were to come into play...
LIKES: sports (particularly soccer and rugby), his friends, his little sister, his cat, debating, English, reading, writing, swimming, just hanging out, heights (whether it's rock-climbing or climbing trees), playful practical jokes
DISLIKES: Claire when she gets bitchy, disrespect, letting people down (especially his team), getting lost, feeling useless, being confused or misled, being called "Gregory"
FEARS: turning out like his parents; anything happening to Finn
DREAMS: move to the country, away from all the snobbery and stereo-types
