NICKNAME: Jose.

SEXUALITY: Heterosexual.
BIRTHDATE: July 28th.
GROUP: Junior.

BUT IN TIME I'M GONNA PUT THIS BODY TO SHAME,
Josie can be described as "petite", to put it nicely. Others might describe her as tiny, skinny, or just plain small. She stands at the mere height of 5'1, which she is sometimes teased for. Her body is proportioned, though, weighing about 115 pounds give or take. She has a slender frame, and generally wears skinny jeans and t-shirts, dressing mostly for comfort. Her hair is perhaps her most noticeable feature, being a very vibrant red, which is natural, though she sometimes dyes it different shades of red, or might add some blonde streaks. She has pale skin, with some light freckles dusting across her face. She was never huge on makeup, maybe just wearing a bit of eye makeup if anything, mostly when she's going out at night. Josie never really thought of herself as beautiful, more just cute or mildly attractive, though she never thought of herself as "ugly" either. She's generally content with her appearance, though she always wished she was a bit taller.
BODY TYPE: Petite.
HAIR: Light red, or strawberry blonde, as some may refer to it. It's generally straight, about shoulder length and cut with bangs, that she sometimes clips back. She will sometimes let her hair have a bit of a wave to it, if she doesn't feel like straightening it in the morning.
EYES: Greenish.
HEIGHT: 5'1.
WEIGHT: 115.
TATTOOS/PIERCINGS: Ears are pierced, along with her septum, which she wears on occasion.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Light freckles on her face and arms, which become more noticeable in the summer when she has been exposed to more sun.
PLAY-BY: Hayley Williams.
WEAR A SUIT LIKE MY OLD MAN,
Born and raised in Erie, PA, up until about the age of 11, Josie had a pretty normal childhood. When she was 2, her parents had their second child, whom they named Kaitlyn, or Katie for short. The two girls were drastically different growing up, Josie being redhaired and spunky, and Katie being darker haired and kind of shy, though the two sisters still got along. They had their fair share of arguments about what game to play, or who got to do what first, as most siblings do growing up, but nothing major. Their parents weren't home very much during the day, but thankfully they got off work early enough to come home to at least have dinner together every night. The two girls spent a good amount of their time with babysitters growing up, though they were always pretty well-behaved.
At a young age, Josie became highly interested in art, in all its forms. Mostly, drawing. She would constantly be doodling in the margins of notebooks, on the back of test papers, etc. Though her skills were undeveloped, her raw talent could be seen. Music was another interest of hers. She had always wanted to take guitar lessons, but never asked her parents, so one day, after saving her allowance, she bought a cheap guitar that she saw at a garage sale in her neighborhood, and taught herself. She was never amazing at it, though she still enjoyed playing an instrument and singing, though not in the company of others.
When Josie was 13, her parents decided on a pretty drastic move to Preston Heights, Ontario. Though neither of the girls were thrilled with the idea, not wanting to leave their schools and friends behind, they went along with it, though their opinions were definitely voiced. However, they adjusted. Josie began to attend Lawrence school at the age of 14 as a freshman, just in time to start high school. She never felt like she fit in as much as she did at her old school, being the new kid and all, but she managed to adjust. Friends were hard to come by for Josie, though she managed to stay in touch with most of her old friends from back home in Erie.
Now, a few years later, Josie is a junior at Lawrence. She's managed to make at least a few friends, though to this day, she has never had a boyfriend. Hell, she's never even held a boy's hand. Though Josie was never the type to need a relationship to keep her happy, she still wondered why all these years, no one had ever shown that kind of interest in her.
HOMETOWN: Erie, Pennsylvania

PACK UP ALL MY THINGS AND GET MY ASS OUT OF TOWN,
When you first meet Josie, she's generally friendly and easy to get along with. She's a bit polite at first, watching what she says, and may come off as a bit shy or reserved until she warms up to you. She's very afraid of making a good first impression, and often tries too hard to be polite, especially around adults. This often back-fires on her, especially when she meets a friend's parents. However, she can be quite talkative when you start to get to know her. Once she really warms up to you, she can be actually quite affectionate. She's very liberal with giving out hugs to her friends, and anyone who would accept it. Though she doesn't seem to be the type who would care what people think about her, she does a great deal.
In some ways, Josie's a bit apathetic, mostly towards school, aside from art classes. however, she cares about more important things, in her opinion, such as her friends and family, and doing the right thing. She has a really powerful conscience, and it'll definitely kick in if something doesn't seem right. She doesn't like to put a damper on others having a good time, but if she has a bad feeling about something, she'll let them know, and she's not afraid to sit things out if she doesn't think they're gonna turn out right.
Josie's not really depressed, though she does have her sad moments, like any teenage girl does. Generally she has a good amount of confidence, though sometimes it dies down, and she wonders why boys don't look at her like they do other girls, or why she can't look like the popular girls in school, though she manages to pick herself back up. She tries her best not to let things get to her, though sometimes she can't help it. She has a bad habit of worrying too much, and overthinking things to the point where she becomes paranoid. It may take her a while to snap out of these states, but she can normally calm herself down. If not, she might call a close friend and freak out for a little bit, just to get her feelings out in the open, though this doesn't mean that she's using her friends, because she would gladly listen to them if they needed to talk.
LIKES: art, music, hugs, hoodies, cuddling, animals.
DISLIKES: cocky people, rudeness, her height, large dogs, cold weather, being used.
FEARS: being lonely, being alone in the dark, power outages.
DREAMS: make a name for herself in the art world.

WHETHER YOU LIKE THIS TOWN OR NOT,
Chuck generally didn't have a lot of money to be spending, but seeing as she had stayed up finishing homework for the most of the night before, coffee was needed, and she was willing to spend $4 for a little extra energy. The redhead sat in one of the corner tables by herself, not paying attention to much of what was happening around her. Bits and pieces of various songs she had heard throughout the day looped through her head, kind of annoying her. Chuck glanced up as she heard the doorbell ring as someone walked in. Not recognizing the person, Chuck went back to starring blankly at her cup of white chocolate mocha. She blinked, glancing around the coffee shop nonchalantly. It was mostly empty, with a few business-looking type people sitting at tables by themselves, typing away on their laptops.
Sighing quietly, Chuck reached into her bag, pulling out a small drawing tablet and a drawing pencil. The people who seemed hard at work probably wouldn't notice, so she lightly began to sketch one of them. If she focused on something she liked, such as drawing, she'd be able to stay awake at least a little bit better. What she would really like to do would be taking a nap, but seeing as she was in a public coffee shop, that wouldn't be the best idea. After a few minutes, Chuck glanced down at her drawing. She scrunched up her face in dislike and flipped the page over to the back, starting to draw the person over. It took her a few times to get something right, usually, but that was part of art.
Chuck used her the hand that she wasn't using to draw with to rest her chin on, glancing up and down between the person across the coffee shop and then back down at her sketchpad, and she tried to get the proportions right, so it actually looked like a person rather than a jumble of lines. The redhead made another face, and put her pencil behind her ear, closing the drawing pad and starring down at the cup of coffee that she held between her hands. She took in a deep breath, and looked up, checking out the various very ordinary looking paintings that decorated the walls of Anna's Coffee Shoppe. She wondered how much the artists had gotten paid to paint the normal looking landscapes and sceneries that hung on the walls.
