 Welcome to Might As Well Make Believe. This site is a show choir genre, based loosely on the hit FOX show - Glee. The site features two rival high schools and their glee clubs competing against eachother in various competitions. As well as being members of the glee club, joining this site will let you become a teacher, normal student and a resident of each town.
Might As Well Make Believe is set in the non-fictional city of Columbus in the state of Ohio. Yes, we are set in the state place as Glee - but the schools we are set in are not the same. The two rival, fictional, high schools are Cardinalis Community High and Alfred White High School.
Cardinalis Community High is home to the Red Bird football team, the Little Cardies Cheerleader squad and, of course, the Scarlet Songbirds, the name of the resident Glee Club. The School colours are red and black, with the crest being the state bird of Ohio, the cardinal. The school motto is "Ad Astra Per Aspera - To the stars through difficulties".
Alfred White High School is home to the White Stag football team, the Blanche Bucks Cheerleader squad, and last but not least, the Doe-Ray-Me Glee club. The school colours are white and blue, with the crest being the state animal of Ohio, the white-tailed deer. The school motto is "Quod Agis - Do well in whatever you do".
We have a medium length app, to encourage creativity and full characters. We also have a required minimum word count of 350 words per post. We don't require full punctuation and capital letters - this isn't high school, but if you like to do that then be our guest. We hope you really enjoy your time here and make a lot of interesting stories for your characters. |
